A New Beginning

Let's continue this revolution. Let's change the way we see ourselves. The way we live our lives. The way we treat our equals. This is the dawning of a new age. The beginning of something fantastic. The best part is, is everyone is invited.

I think everyone deserves a second chance. Some more than others. But everyone none the less. This revolution is the start of our second shot at life. People are finally realizing we all have what it takes to make our dreams come true, to feel good about who we are as individuals, and to change our lives and the world for the better.

The first step in this revolution is to learn to love yourself!

We are all beautiful beings of light, love and energy. If you learn to accept your beauty and recognize your worth, only good things can find you. I think this month I will focus on self love. It is SO important to staying happy and healthy and positive and productive. Love yourself! Only then can you truly learn to love others and let others love you back. I think this is the most difficult step t accept. So many girls these days have such difficult times accepting that they are beautiful. I don't think it can be said enough that media and standards today are absolutely ridiculous and impossible to keep up with. Who cares what others think you should be wearing or think you should look like. Everyone has a different image of beauty and if we try to please everyone we will only disappoint everyone. Accept yourself! Know that however you chose to present yourself is the only way you should. Stop trying to become this perfect stereotype that doesn't exist. Be real not fake. Feel comfortable in your own skin. Do it for yourself not others. Who cares what other people say or think. They don't know how bad they are hurting themselves. You do! Do what makes you feel pretty. If others don't like it then fine. They don't have to. We are here to live for us not for others.

Anyway just some rambling thoughts I've been pondering the past few days. I will go more into detail in the next few posts but for now I think I need to gather a few more thoughts.
